Immigrant Connection Citizenship Class

Immigrant Connection is in need of volunteers to encourage and show the love of Christ to immigrants attending the next citizenship class.

On Wednesday evenings from March 2 thru April 27th Sent Church Immigrant Connection is teaching a citizenship class for the immigrants they serve in our community. Classes will take place from 6-8 PM. in Kid’s Rock.

The immigrants have been waiting and dreaming of becoming a US citizen for 5+ years. Volunteers will assist in making those dreams and aspirations come true by tutoring on citizenship materials including basic US history, government officials, how the US political system works & US geography. These subjects are included on their upcoming citizenship test. Tutors will listen to the class presentations and be provided with materials to review with the immigrants. What a beautiful way to show the immigrants kindness, encouragement, patience & the love of Christ!

Volunteers High School Age+ are welcome. Masks required in classes. Modest attire required. Missing a class or two due to other commitments or scheduling conflicts can be accommodated.
